Bahadurgarh Footwear Development Services (BFDS) operates an Advanced Footwear Testing Laboratory established under the MSE-CDP scheme of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. The BFDS Testing Laboratory is equipped with modern instruments and skilled professionals to ensure footwear quality, safety, durability, and compliance with Indian Standards (IS).

Hawai Chappals are tested as per IS 10702, focusing on flexibility, abrasion resistance, and tensile strength.

The laboratory also offers General Purpose Footwear testing as per IS 17043 and Safety Shoes testing as per IS 15298 (Part 2) to meet industrial safety requirements. In addition, BFDS conducts Chemical Testing as per IS 17011 to ensure footwear materials comply with safety and environmental standards and are free from restricted chemicals.
