Bahadurgarh Footwear Development Services (BFDS) is a premier institute established under the MSE-CDP scheme of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. BFDS works with a dual objective of skill development with employment support and quality assurance through advanced footwear testing services.

BFDS offers free skill-based training programs with 100% placement support, designed to meet the needs of the footwear and allied industries. These programs focus on hands-on practical training, industry exposure, and job readiness. Available courses include Footwear Lab Technician, Stitching Operator, Cutter Footwear, Knitting Machine Operator, Footwear Designing & CAD-CAM, and Data Entry Operator.

Along with training, BFDS also operates a state-of-the-art Footwear Testing Laboratory equipped to test products as per BIS standards. The laboratory provides testing services for Sports Shoes (IS 15844), Sandal & Slipper (IS 6721), Hawai (IS 10702), General Purpose Footwear (IS 17043), Chemical Testing (IS 17011), and Safety Shoes (IS 15298 Part-2).
